RESEARCH PROJECTS

Projects sponsored by the Decentralized Water Resources Collaborative (DWRC) are conducted by universities, non-profit organizations, consulting firms and other qualified public and private agencies and institutions.

Nearly 30 research and development projects received funding during Phase 1 of the DWRC, and 40 projects have been funded under Phase 2. These projects include efforts to:

• address Environmental Science and Engineering issues to fill in critical information gaps;
• develop improved Management, Economics, and Policy approaches and recommendations; and
• create better Training and Education tools and materials for the decentralized field.
